Terms and conditions

These terms set out the basis on which we provide our services. By booking an appointment with us, you agree to them.

Last reviewed: June 2026

1. About us

Stratford Foot Clinic is a trading name of The Podiatry Works Ltd, an independent podiatry practice based at Ithaca House, 27 Romford Road, Stratford, London E15 4LJ. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Stratford Foot Clinic.

2. Appointments and booking

You can book an appointment online, by phone or by email. When you book, you're asked to provide accurate personal and medical details so we can provide safe and appropriate care. Some appointments, including home visits and out-of-hours appointments, can only be arranged by phone.

To secure a first appointment, new patients are asked to pay a deposit, which goes towards the cost of the appointment. Full details are set out in our cancellation policy.

3. Fees and payment

Our fees are explained before treatment begins, and we'll always be clear about the cost of any procedure before carrying it out. Payment is due in full at the end of your appointment, unless we've agreed otherwise in advance.

We accept payment by card, processed securely through our payment provider, and by bank transfer. Any product or item purchased is to be paid for at the time of purchase.

4. Cancellations and missed appointments

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to change or cancel an appointment, so we can offer the time to another patient. Missed appointments and late cancellations may affect your deposit or require payment in advance for future bookings. Our full cancellation policy explains how this works.

5. Your care

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill, in line with the standards of our profession and our regulator, the Health and Care Professions Council. We'll always discuss your treatment options with you and seek your consent before proceeding.

While we'll always act in your best interests, no clinician can guarantee a specific outcome from treatment, as individual results naturally vary. We'll give you honest, realistic advice about what you can expect.

6. Your responsibilities

To help us care for you safely, we ask that you:

  • Give accurate and complete information about your health, medication and medical history.
  • Tell us about any changes to your health or circumstances that may affect your treatment.
  • Follow the aftercare advice we provide.
  • Treat our staff and premises with respect.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage that is not a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms, or that arises from information you have not provided to us.

8. Your information

We take the privacy of your information seriously and handle it in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our privacy policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have.

9. Concerns and complaints

If you're unhappy with any part of your care or experience, we want to hear about it. Our complaints policy explains how to raise a concern and what will happen next.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies is the one published on this page at the time you book your appointment, with the date it was last reviewed shown above.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
